Who dare sketch the subway sketcher whilst he is sketching thee?

This is Cap’n Nemo’s, a restaurant in Mount Desert Island, Maine. It is a restaurant/light house/home for the owners of the restaurant. It is a local restaurant that has seafood and wicked BBQ foods. I got a HUGE haddock sandwich for only 8 dollars. I left a copy of my sketch on a big wall so I’ll be there forever. It just recently burned down… use the link below to donate.

The kid who wrote this couldn’t have been much older than 11 or so. I think he’s off to a good start on an interesting life.

"EXPLORATION is what I do. Try new things, go new places. I LIVE IN NYC and recently I realized there’s much more to NYC than lights and taxis and garbage, every step you take you go into a new *different* world. Every person has a story, not one the same as another. If you are open to new things and don’t be afraid to do them you will meet some guy at WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK. BE DIFFERENT."

This a sketch of my dads warehouse, which supplies 100 food vendors around NYC. There are cases of soda piled 20 feet high, ton sacs of peanuts for supplying Nuts 4 Nuts, and a huge freezer with thousands of ice cream bars. This place is like home to me, I guess thats good and bad at the same time.

I woke up with this wierd urge to make a collage, so I did. I took some fabric scrap, newspaper with Obama’s face, homemade red bubble mix and some stamps and this is what I got.

This is Van-Cortlandt Park in the evening during a Philharmonic concert. I just pulled out my pad and started to draw.

This is what the Korean artist K-CHAN drew (Me and my Aunt Leslie), and the bottom is what I drew(Him).

This is K-CHAN, he is a korean artist that I met in Washington Square park. He sketched me, I sketched him. Above is what he drew, and this is what I drew.

I drew this four years ago. This is what I thought New York was, money, beer, and news papers.
